Terms of Business

Hosting & Web Design

Specific terms of business are provided in our proposal document. If no proposal document is provided the terms and conditions of hosting are specified in this agreement.

We will host your site and make best efforts for it to be available at all times. The internet comprises many networks and connections beyond our control and we cannot guarantee availability of a site or email at any time.

Our Support Service.

Normal business hours in the UK. 9am-5pm Monday To Friday. Except Bank Holidays.

Backups are made daily of our web servers. In the event of failure of equipment or networks, we will make best efforts to restore the connection to the website as soon as possible. We hold backups of static websites, however it is the responsibility of the client to keep a back up copy of any information added to the web site via a content managed solution.

We register domain names in the name of the client. Domain names may be transferred to another host or registrar at any time providing no monies are owed at the time. We will require transfer requests to made in writing.

Charges and Fees

Design work requires payment of a deposit in advance and this will be advised at tiem of proposal.
Hosting and maintenance charges are due on the 1st of each month in advance.
We retain the right to suspend a service if an account is more than 30 days overdue without any further notice.
Consequences of the site and email being unavailable are the full responsibility of the client.

VAT

All prices quoted are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate.

Service Level

We make every effort to ensure website and email services are available for the maximum amount of time. However, servers will be unavailable at times for updates, maintenance and possible failure of server hardware and software. Wherever possible, advance notice will be provided of any outage and downtime will be limited to out of hours. We are not responsible for any loss of data, nor any financial loss as a result of a service being unavailable.

Search Engines

All websites created are submitted to search engines for indexing but we cannot guarantee listings within search engines. If a website does not appear in a search engine for any reason we will not be held responsible.

Client Agreement

Information provided for your website shall not be false, defamatory, libelous, indecent, obscene, misleading or offensive. We retain the right to amend or remove any information which we consider not accurate and in any way false, defamatory, libelous, indecent, obscene, misleading or offensive.

Your business and any other materials or information you provide to us do not infringe any law, regulations or rights including IPR of other people or organisations.

The client agrees to not use or attempt to use the account to send unsolicited email or "spam" in any way.
